First Year Seminar (FYS) FAQ
Do first year students live together?
All first year students live together according to their FYS. We will not know where specific FYE seminars are living until the first week of August.
How do I fulfill my First Year Seminar?
First year students will register for their FYS during DelaWorld. Depending on your major or academic interest, you will register for a First Year Seminar called UNIV 101 or a department-based First Year Seminar.Honors students fulfill their FYS by being in the Honors program.
Do transfer students have to take an FYS?
Transfer students do not have to take an FYS if they have completed a full semester at a four-year university.
